Animation Youth Art Exhibition kicks off
Visiting an art exhibition in spring can be quite enjoyable. Amidst the strong atmosphere of the Yellow Emperor Worship Ceremony that falls on the third day of the third lunar month in Zhengzhou, the Bilingual Animation Youth Art Exhibition for the Legend of the Yellow Emperor is officially opened to the public at the Zhengzhou Youth Palace Exhibition Hall on April 19th, featuring a series of bilingual animation films.
The films are based on four classic legends of the Yellow Emperor, named Urging Later Generations to Unite, Discovering Medicinal Herbs, Creating Boats and Chariots, and Linglun Phoenix Music Law. It took eight months by 18 primary and secondary schools in Zhengzhou to prepare for the Exhibition, involving nearly a thousand teachers and students. The Exhibition displays more than 500 examples of creative art works, with more than 10 art forms such as animations, theme songs, paintings, clay sculptures, dyed wax, and paper cuttings. The Exhibition makes The Legend of the Yellow Emperor more widely known and passed on.
The exhibition draws strength from Chinese civilization and traditional culture. It is a common cultural practice for descendants of the Yellow Emperor to find their roots and seek their ancestral origins.
Sponsored by the Zhengzhou Newspaper Group and the Communist Youth League Zhengzhou Municipal Committee, the Exhibition is organized by WhereZhengzhou, the Zhengzhou Youth Palace, and the Social Affairs Bureau of Zhengzhou High-tech Zone Administration Committee Education & Research and Smart Education Development Center. Bilingual Animation Youth Art Exhibition for the Legend of the Yellow Emperor is a useful exploration and attempt to share the charm of Yellow Emperor culture and its root-seeking tradition.
It also provides intellectual and artistic background for the Yellow Emperor Worship Ceremony in his hometown in the year of Guimao. What's more, it is also an excellent opportunity and platform to showcase the artistic style and spiritual outlook of so many young people in Zhengzhou.
