Ancestor Worship Ceremony of Xinchou Year Held in Zhengzhou

The days are getting longer and wind blows warm in Xinzheng of Zhengzhou. At 9:15 a.m of the third day of the third lunar month(April 14), the ancestor worship ceremony is held at the hometown of Yellow Emperor in Xinzheng, Zhengzhou, Henan Province.
日长风暖，溱洧之滨柳色青。又是一年三月三，4月14日上午9时15分，辛丑年黄帝故里拜祖大典在河南省郑州市新郑黄帝故里举行。

Through the live worship ceremony and online worship ceremony, the Chinese from all over the world pray for the prosperity of the Chinese nation and the well-being of the people of the world in the hometown of the Yellow Emperor.
全球华人的拳拳之心再次汇聚于中华文明始祖轩辕黄帝故里故都，通过现场拜祖和网上拜祖，同拜轩辕黄帝，祈福中华民族繁荣昌盛，祝福世界人民幸福安康。

The ceremony of worshipping ancestors in the hometown of Yellow Emperor in Xinchou year is jointly sponsored by Henan Provincial People's Government, Henan Provincial Committee of China People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, All-China Federation of Taiwan Compatriots, Association for Yan Huang Culture of China and other units, undertaken by Zhengzhou Municipal People's Government and Zhengzhou Municipal Committee of CPPCC, and implemented by Xinzheng Municipal People's Government.
辛丑年黄帝故里拜祖大典由河南省人民政府、政协河南省委员会、国务院台湾事务办公室、中华全国归国华侨联合会、中华全国台湾同胞联谊会、中华炎黄文化研究会联合主办，郑州市人民政府、政协郑州市委员会承办，新郑市人民政府执行。

With the theme of “same root, same ancestor and same blood; peace, friendship and harmony”, the ceremony adhere to the on-site worship and online worship at the same time, the Yellow Emperor's hometown worship and overseas branch venues are held as a whole linkage.
大典仍以“同根同祖同源，和平和睦和谐”为主题，坚持现场拜祖和网上拜祖同期举办、黄帝故里拜祖与境外分会场拜祖统筹联动。

The Ceremony will be divided into nine parts, which are "performing the music, offering flower baskets, washing hands and burning joss sticks, giving a salute, reading worship articles, singing odes, dancing, blessing for China and blessing for harmony between nature and mankind". In this Ceremony, further innovation will be made to the artistic expression at each link to improve the culture connotation of this event.
大典共有九项仪程：盛世礼乐、敬献花篮、净手上香、行施拜礼、恭读拜文、高唱颂歌、乐舞敬拜、祈福中华、天地人和。
In addition to the live ancestor worship, the newly upgraded online interactive platform of ancestor worship also invites people from all over the world to worship the Yellow Emperor and pray for China through the online platform.(Reporter/ Zhao Wenjing)
