High Relief Rubbing Art Exhibition opens in Shang Capital Ruins Museum

On September 19, the High Relief Rubbing Art Exhibition of Grottoes Status Along The Yellow River in the Central Plains opens in the permanent exhibition hall, the first floor the Shang Capital Ruins Museum.

Located on the East Street of Guancheng District, Zhengzhou Shang Dynasty Ruins Museum covers an area of about 5,500 square meters. The Museum were open to the public on July 26 in Zhengzhou, Henan Province. It presents the archaeological research, relics conservation and cultural interpretation of related findings at the Shangdu Ruins.

On the exhibition, a total of classical rubbing works from Gongyi Grottoes in Zhengzhou, Shuiquan Grottoes in Luoyang, Jili Grottoes, Lingquan Temple Grottoes in Anyang, Xiangquan Temple Grottoes in Xinxiang, Wuyan Mountain Grottoes in Hebi, Thousand Buddha Grottoes in Xun County, the Stone Buddha Beach Grottoes in Boai County of Jiaozuo.

There are also relative activities such as lectures on high relief rubbings, experiential activities,as well as cultural and creative products could be enjoy on the spot.(郑州文物局王羿/摄影)
