Dengfeng, the most authoritative world in China

Geographically, it is the center of the earliest reproduction and activities of the Chinese nation. The ancestors of the Xia Dynasty believed that Song Mountain was the birthplace and activity center of their ancestors, while that of the Shang Dynasty and Zhou Dynasty also believed Mount Song was the birthplace and activity center of their ancestors.

地理位置上，这里是华夏民族最早繁衍生息之地和活动的中心。夏朝先民认为嵩山是其祖先的诞生地和活动中心，商朝则以嵩山为活动中心，周朝也认为嵩山是其祖先的诞生地和活动中心。

Psychologically, Mount Song is also the birthplace of the name "China". The inscription on the "He Zun" cast in the early western Zhou Dynasty records that the Duke of Zhou went to songluo area to establish the capital of "China", which is the earliest existing material material with the name of "China", and also the most reliable origin of the name of "China".

心理位置上，嵩山还是“中国”之名的发祥地。西周初年铸造的“何尊”上铭文记载，周公到嵩洛地区的“中国”建都，这是现存最早的带有“中国”名字的实物资料，也是最可靠的“中国”名字的由来。

据《周礼·地官司徒》载，周公为了寻找天地之中营建东都，在嵩山脚下的阳城“以土圭之法，测土深，正日影，以求地中”。

Finally, he found the "heart of heaven and earth" in Yangcheng at the foot of Songshan Mountain, and left the king of Zhou surveying platform praised through the ages. Therefore, it is the "middle of heaven and earth" in the mind of the Chinese nation.

终于，他在嵩山脚下的阳城寻找到了“天心地胆”，还留下了千古称颂的周公测景台。因此，这里是华夏民族心目中的“天地之中”。
