with vast river surface, abundant aquatic plants, fish and shrimp resources in the Yellow River Wetland Bird Reserve of Zhongmou county, it attracts a large number of migratory birds from the south to stop here in the winter.

寒冬时节，在中牟县黄河湿地鸟类自然保护区，广阔的河面、丰美的水草和黄河湿地丰富的鱼虾资源吸引了大批南迁候鸟在此驻足。

According to the observation records, up to now, the number of migratory bird species observed in the Yellow River Wetland has increased from 169 in 2012 to more than 300 now, including 10 national first-class protected birds, more than 30 national second-class protected birds, and about 20,000 grey cranes and wild geese.

根据观测记录， 截至目前，黄河湿地观测到的候鸟种类由2012年169 种增长到300 多种，其中国家一级保护鸟类10 种、国家二级保护鸟类 30 余种，灰鹤和大雁达 20000 只左右。

Great bustard, first class national protected animals, is as valuable as the Siberian tiger and the giant panda. There are only about 1,000 in the world, while In the Yellow River beach area of Zhongmou county, 48 were observed at a time.

其中国家一级保护动物大鸨，和东北虎、大熊猫一样珍贵，目前世界上仅有1000只左右，在中牟县黄河滩区一次就观测 到48只。
