Fushou Street, as the name suggests, means to bless you with good fortune and longevity, and this old street is exactly as its name, the existence of a hundred years, is also a longevity of the elderly.

福寿街，顾名思义就是保佑大家多福多寿，而这条老街确如其名，存在了百年之久，也算是一位多寿的老人了。

At the end of the Qing dynasty, Fushou street was still a desolate wilderness with few people. Since 1904, as the two major railway intersects in Zhengzhou, goods from all over the country made it as a distribution center, especially near the station, cotton firms have sprung up like mushrooms.

清朝末年，福寿街还是一片人烟稀少的荒凉旷野。自1904年开始，随着两大铁路相继在郑州交会，各地货物大都以此为集散地，特别是车站附近的棉花商行雨后春笋般多起来。

This desolate area was quickly developed into a business district, and the land was quickly sold out by merchants. From south to north, many cotton shops, restaurants, inns, hotels, north-south goods, grocery stores, warehouses, salt stores and other shops were built, forming commercial streets.

这一片荒凉之地很快被开发成商贸区，地皮迅速被商贾们定购一空。从南向北，盖起许多棉花商行、饭店、客栈、酒店、南北货、杂货店铺、货栈、盐店等商铺，形成商业性街道。
