A poll to select the "Happiest City in China 2020" has been launched in Beijing. Hangzhou, Shanghai and Zhengzhou were among the shortlisted cities.
“2020中国最具幸福感城市”调查推选活动日前在京启动。杭州、上海、郑州等入围候选城市榜单。
Under the theme of "People's City, Happiness and Prosperity", the event will investigate on the happiness of Chinese cities and promote the vivid practice of happy cities with the focus on fine urban governance, people's joint contribution and sharing, and efforts to complete the building of a moderately prosperous society in all respects.
活动将以“人民城市，幸福小康”为主题，以城市精细治理、人民共建共享、助力全面建成小康社会为主线，对中国城市的幸福感进行调查，推介幸福城市的生动实践。

I am aware of the people's biggest concerns, such as education, employment, income, social security, healthcare, old-age security, housing and the environment. The survey includes 9 first-level indicators, including employment index, resident income index, quality of life index, ecological environment index, urban attractiveness index, public safety index, education index, transportation index and health care index, as well as hundreds of second-level sub-indicators. With the technical support of the Business intelligence Laboratory of Baidu Research Institute, the index system has collected more than 10 trillion pieces of relevant urban sample data.
此次调查推选活动，包括就业指数、居民收入指数、生活品质指数、生态环境指数、城市吸引力指数、公共安全指数、教育指数、交通指数、医疗健康指数9个一级指标以及上百个二级细分指标。该指标体系在百度研究院商业智能实验室的技术支持下，采集的相关城市样本数据超过10万亿条。
