Mount Song Geological Park is one of the five famous Sacred Mountains, which is located in Dengfeng City, Zhengzhou City, Henan Province, with a total area of 450 square kilometers.

嵩山地质公园是五岳之“中岳”，位于河南省郑州市登封市，总面积450平方千米。

Within the park, the strata of archean, Proterozoic, Paleozoic, Mesozoic and Cenozoic have been continuously and completely exposed for 3.5 billion years. The stratigraphic sequence is clear and the structural features are typical, which is known as "five dynasties under one roof" by the geological circle.

公园范围内，连续完整地出露35亿年以来太古代、元古代、古生代、中生代和新生代五个地质历史时期的地层，地层层序清楚，构造形迹典型，被地质界称为“五代同堂”。

 

Mount Song was listed as a world Geopark by UNESCO on February 13, 2004

2004年2月13日，嵩山被联合国教科文组织列为世界地质公园。
