The 2022 Zhengzhou Intangible Cultural Heritage Photography Exhibition Held

On September 7, 2022, the 2022 Zhengzhou Intangible Cultural Heritage Photography Exhibition under the series events of “Charming Zhengzhou · Public Welfare Exhibition Hall” kicked off in the art gallery on the fourth floor of Zhengzhou Cultural Center. The event was held to inherit and carry forward the traditional Chinese culture, fully show the achievements made in terms of protection and inheritance of intangible cultural heritage in Zhengzhou, tell stories about intangible cultural heritage with videos and images, allow people to appreciate intangible cultural heritage at close range, and prepare for the 20th CPC National Congress to be convened.

Themed “Discovering the Beauty of Intangible Cultural Heritage”, the exhibition invited provincial and municipal photographers and photography commissioners from cultural centers in counties (cities) and districts to photograph national and provincial intangible cultural heritage projects and relevant representative inheritors of intangible cultural heritage in Zhengzhou in all categories, resulting in 50 photographic works that are exhibited during this event. With strong visual impact and appeal, these works vividly record the splendid moments of representative inheritors of intangible cultural heritage in Zhengzhou in their daily artistic creation, exhibition and performance activities, allowing visitors to find the beauty and appreciate the charm of intangible cultural heritage in the melody of light and shadow at close range.(Zhengzhou Municipal Tourism Administration)
