Blue Book of National Central City丨《国家中心城市建设报告(2018)》英文版郑州发布

 　　On December 28, the Press Office of the People’s Government of Zhengzhou held a press conference, officially releasing the English version of Annual Report of the Construction of National Central City (2018) jointly launched by Zhengzhou Normal University and Social Sciences Academic Press (China).

　　12月28日，郑州市人民政府新闻办公室举行新闻发布会，郑州师范学院与社会科学文献出版社联合推出的《国家中心城市建设报告(2018)》英文版正式发布。

 

　　In February 2010, Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Chongqing were designated as national central cities for the first time. From May 2016 to February 2018, the State had been planning to support Chengdu, Wuhan, Zhengzhou and Xi 'an to become national central cities.

　　2010年2月国家首次明确北京、天津、上海、广州、重庆为国家中心城市。2016年5月至2018年2月，又先后规划支持成都、武汉、郑州、西安建设国家中心城市。

　　Organized by Zhengzhou Normal University, together with more than 30 research institutions from the 9 national central cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin and Chongqing, the first blue book of national central city was created and published in September 2018.

　　由郑州师范学院牵头组织，北京、上海、天津、重庆等9个国家中心城市的30多家科研机构参与，于2018年9月研创出版了全国第一部国家中心城市建设蓝皮书。

　　This blue book, themed with “the missions and commitments of national central cities”, had a huge social impact, presenting the goal and orientation of China's construction of national central cities, evaluating the development trend of the nine national central cities, introducing exponential evaluation method for construction of the national central cities, and predicting the development prospect of the national center cities.

　　这部蓝皮书以“国家中心城市的使命与担当”为主题，着力呈现了中国建设国家中心城市的目标、定位，评估了9个国家中心城市的发展态势，推出了国家中心城市建设指数评价体系，对国家中心城市发展前景作了研判，产生巨大社会反响。

　　In order to give a better understanding of China's urbanization and development process of the country’s national central cities in the new era, promote their opening up and high-quality development, present a real, vivid and comprehensive China, and enhance the country's cultural soft power, Zhengzhou Normal University once again worked with Social Sciences Academic Press (China) and published the English version of the blue book. The book retains most of the contents of the Chinese version, about 600,000 words long, and is published worldwide. It will provide an important window for the international community to understand the development process and future trends of China's urbanization and serve as an important reference for the field of world urban construction and relevant researches of academia.

　　为进一步向世界讲好中国城镇化故事，展现真实、立体、全面的中国，提高国家文化软实力;讲好新时代中国国家中心城市发展故事，推动这些城市扩大开放、高质量发展，郑州师范学院又与社会科学文献出版社合作，出版了这部蓝皮书的英文版。该书保留了中文版的绝大部分内容，全书60 万字，面向全球发行，将为国际社会了解中国城镇化发展进程及未来趋势提供一个重要窗口，为世界城市建设领域及学术界的相关研究提供一份重要参考。
