如果说，文化是一座城市的灵魂，那么，剧院则是这座城市的文化地标。

 

 

In the evening of November 8, as an important landmark of Zhengzhou Central Culture District CCD and one of the core venues of the newly built Arts and Culture Centre, the official opening of Zhengzhou Grand Theatre held the opening concert, the famous conductor Lin Daye act with all his feelings with the oldest and most representative of Chinese musical interpretation of the world orchestra in Asia, Shanghai Symphony Orchestra.

11月8日晚，作为郑州中央文化区CCD的重要标志性建筑及新落成的文化艺术中心核心场馆之一，郑州大剧院正式启用并举行开幕音乐会，著名指挥家林大叶携手亚洲地区历史最悠久、最能代表中国音乐诠释能力的世界级乐团——上海交响乐团倾情演绎。

 

Since then, Zhengzhou, the ancient capital, has a brand new cultural landmark and added a charming landscape, a busy cultural "meeting room".

从此，古都郑州有了全新的文化地标，再添一道迷人的风景线，一个忙碌的文化“会客厅”。

With a total construction area of 127,700 square meters and a total investment of 2.1 billion yuan, the theater has 1,687 seats, 884 concert halls, 421 multi-function halls, 461 opera rehearsal halls, as well as residential areas and management rooms for The Yu Opera Theater and The Qu Opera Troupe.

该剧院总建筑面积约12.77万平方米，总投资约21亿元，设有1687座的歌舞剧院、884座的音乐厅、421座的多功能厅、461座戏曲排练厅，以及市豫剧院和市曲剧团驻场区及管理用房等。

 

 

This is not only a wonderful stage and a window for people, but also an epitome of Zhengzhou's cultural confidence and strategy of strengthening the city through cultural tourism, through which we can taste the cultural characteristics of Zhengzhou, get a glimpse of the colorful quality life in Zhengzhou, and feel the vigorous vitality of this 3,600-year-old ancient capital.
