The End of Heat

The End of Heat is the 14th of the 24 solar terms,which happens on August 23rd each year when the sun reaches the celestial longitude of 150 degrees.It also known as"out of heat",shows that scorching summer days will soon be gone.

After the End of Heat,the direct sun point continues to move towards south,the solar radiation weakens.The weather could still be hot but the temperature will surely be on decline since the day.

Do you know about the three period of The Limit of Heat?

The first period,hawks prepare food for the winter.During this period,hawks begin to hunt large numbers of birds and display them as sacrifices before eating.

The second period,means the plants begin to wither.The leaves gradually turn into yellow and fall one by one.The flowers will also wither away.With the cold rain,the world is full of chill in the air.

The third period,means a good harvest.The crops are ripe.People begin to harvest the autumn fruits.
