Zhengzhou witnesses lunar eclipse Nov. 8

A lunar eclipse occurs when the Moon moves into the Earth's shadow. This can occur only when the Sun, Earth, and Moon are exactly or very closely aligned with Earth between the other two, which can happen only on the night of a full moon when the Moon is near either lunar node. (wikipedia)
The total lunar eclipse began at 16:00 Beijing time on November 8, when the moon began to fade; At 17:09 PM, the moon began to lose Angle; At 18:16, the moon completely entered the umbra of the Earth; The eclipse reached its peak at 18:59 and ended at 21:57. The whole process took 5 hours and 57 minutes.
The last total lunar eclipse for three years will occur on November 8, 2022, with the next occurring on March 14, 2025 — though we will continue to see partial and penumbral lunar eclipses during that time.
