It is deemed as a cultural tradition for the Chinese nation to worship Huangdi on the third day of the third lunar month which can be traced from the Spring and Autumn Period, and today we will meet the same day in Gengzi year.The Ancestor Worship Ceremony in the Year of Gengzi will be held on March 26 (the third day of the third lunar month) in the Huangdi Hometown Scenic Area in Xinzheng.

The ceremony in Gengzi year themed with "same root, same ancestor and same blood; peace, friendship and harmony", and "Chinese people nurtured by the Yangtze River and the Yellow River are all fighting the COVID-19,wish Emperor Xuanyuan bless us and help us go through the difficulty."Qi Xuchun,Vice chairman of the 12th CPPCC National Committee will host the ceremony as before.The ceremony will be presented in a simple and solemn manner, consisting of online worship, TV broadcast of the world's Chinese worshipping the ancestor,pictures of Chinese worshiping in five continents and expert interviews.

庚子年黄帝故里拜祖大典仍以“同根同祖同源，和平和睦和谐”为主题，以“长江黄河共战‘疫’，轩辕黄帝佑中华”为主旨，由十二届全国政协副主席齐续春继续担任主拜人，以现场简约而庄严的仪式、全球网上拜祖、电视连线等线上线下、大屏小屏互动交互的形式进行，世界五大洲华人拜祖画面、主持人和专家访谈等节目也精彩呈现。

The mass performances are cancelled in the outer square of the ceremony，and the ceremony attending way in the inner square is changed. According to the two overall planing, some local people in huangdi's hometown participate the ceremony on behalf of Chinese people from five continents under the guidance of disease control and prevention experts to wish for a happy life, and wish for a peaceful world.

大典取消外广场大规模群众表演参与，能容纳万余人的内广场也一改观礼方式，根据“两个统筹”的要求，在疾控专家指导下，按照人员间隔左右两米、前后三米的标准，由部分黄帝故里当地群众作为参拜人员，代表五大洲世界华人进行观礼，表达对中华文明始祖黄帝的恭拜，对幸福美好生活的祝愿，对世界和平安康的祝福。

In order to ensure the inheritance and solemnity of the grand ceremony as the national intangible cultural heritage,9 parts of the ceremony are as same as that of previous years,the ceremony : firing gun salutes, offering flower baskets, washing hands and burning joss sticks, giving a salute, reading worship articles, singing odes,unity is strength , blessing for China and blessing for harmony between nature and mankind.

为保证黄帝故里拜祖大典作为国家非物质文化遗产的传承性和庄严性，今年现场继续保留大典的九项仪程。九项仪程分别为：盛世礼炮、敬献花篮、净手上香、行施拜礼、恭读拜文、高唱颂歌、众志成城、祈福中华、天地人和。

The large-scale performance and participation as well as the ceremony watching on the outside and inner square will be canceled,and therefore, the 9 parts of the ceremony will be finished in a new type of on-line way by the host and specialists ,except for only one or two specific parts will be done by a few related staffs on the scene.

九项仪程主要通过现场直播连线、主持人和专家解读、网上拜祖等方式完成，个别仪程由黄帝故里少量工作人员完成。

The part of reading worship articles is finished by Qi Xuchun,Vice chairman of the 12th CPPCC National Committee,which will be on live on CCTV and Global Chinese worship platform.

“恭读拜文”环节，由十二届全国政协副主席齐续春主拜人在北京录制恭读《拜祖文》视频，传至大典现场、央视和全球华人拜祖平台。
