Red Persimmons in Xingyang

　　Persimmon tree is one of the main fruit trees in Xingyang. With thousands of years of history, this plant is all over the township of Xingyang City. Xingyang Persimmon has enjoyed good reputation for a long history. However, 20 plus varieties make it enjoying the reputation "Xingyang persimmon is peerless in the world”.

　　In recent years, relying on persimmon resources, a herd of agriculture experts have been invited there to develop professional training on persimmon planting ; professional cooperatives have been contacted to serve for persimmon selling. At the same time, the local relevant officials devote themselves to simulating the local people to change the concept of planting and to organizing professional and technical personnel on persimmon seedlings selection, grafting and so on; they also push the idea of hanging-drying process to enhance the quality of dried persimmons.
