Some people say that architecture is as epic as poems and songs, and others say that architecture is frozen music. In fact, architecture can be said as the most visualized representation of the development speed of a city and even a country.

有人说，建筑如雄浑的诗词歌赋。也有人说，建筑是凝固的交响乐。或许，没有什么比建筑更能直观地反映一座城市乃至一个国家的发展速度。

In recent years, many Chinese and foreign friends coming to Zhengzhou would say approvingly that the city is advancing by leaps and bounds. Their high praise of the modern buildings which are towering and further polish the urban appearance is unconcealable.

这几年，很多中外友人来到郑州，总会竖起大拇指说“日新月异”，语意间流露出对那些拔地而起、改变城市面貌的时尚建筑的赞叹。

Indeed, walking on the streets of Zhengzhou, you will always notice special architecture coming into sight unexpectedly.

"Big Corn", 280 meters high, also known as the tallest building in Central Plains, is the main building of Millennium Plaza. The golden "big corn" standing straight by the side of Ruyi Lake is visible from the high-rise buildings in any direction in the city.

有着“中原第一高楼”之称的“大玉米”，高280米，是千玺广场的主楼。站在郑州市任何一个方位的高楼上，几乎都能看到金灿灿的“大玉米”昂首挺胸，屹立在如意湖畔。

The shape design of "big corn" fully takes in the profound cultural origins of the Central Plains. In terms of function, it is an urban comprehensive service facility which supports business, office, hotel, conference, leisure, exhibition, tourism, etc.

据说，其设计灵感来自少林寺“崇岳寺塔”。崇岳寺塔是我国最古老的砖塔，距今已有1000多年的历史。在造型设计上，充分融合中原大地深厚的文化渊源。在功能上，其也是一座集商业、办公、酒店、会议、休闲、展览、观光旅游等多功能为一体的城市综合服务设施。

During festive days, the "big corn" is stunning against colorful lights, illuming the city with an inspiring light show.

每逢佳节，夜幕下的“大玉米”流灯溢彩，绚丽纷呈，用一场场振奋人心的灯光秀点亮这座城市。
