上午9时50分，庚寅年黄帝故里拜祖大典正式开始。

At 9:50 in the morning, the ceremony of worshipping ancestors in the hometown of Yellow Emperor in Gengyin year officially began.

庚寅年拜祖大典继续由政协河南省委员会、中华炎黄文化研究会、中华全国归国华侨联合会、中华全国台湾同胞联谊会主办，由郑州市人民政府、政协郑州市委员会、新郑市人民政府具体承办，主题为“同根同祖同源，和平和睦和谐”。

The ancestor worship ceremony in Gengyin year continued to be sponsored by Henan Provincial Committee of China People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), Association for Yan Huang Culture of China All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese and All-China Federation of Taiwan Compatriots, and undertaken by Zhengzhou Municipal People's Government, Zhengzhou CPPCC and Xinzheng Municipal People's Government, with the theme of "Same Root, Same Ancestor and Same Origin, Peace, Concord and Harmony".

主体活动仍由“迎亲”和“拜祖”两大部分组成。“迎亲”将继续用喜庆热烈的文艺表演，在新郑入市口至景区沿途表达对海内外炎黄子孙回家拜祖的欢迎。迎亲线路沿途将设“迎亲”、“昌运”两个牌楼和东入市、人民路、炎黄广场、轩辕路、百家姓广场等五个表演节点。“迎亲”牌楼将举行简单隆重的入场式，五个节点将举行盘鼓、舞龙、舞狮、团体舞蹈等多种形式的文艺表演。

"Welcoming relatives" will continue to express the welcome to the descendants of the Yellow Emperor at home and abroad for coming home to worship their ancestors along the way from the entrance of Xinzheng City to the scenic spot. Along the way, there will be two archways, i.e. "Yingqin" and "Changyun", and five performance nodes, such as East Entrance, Renmin Road, Yanhuang Square, Xuanyuan Road and Baijiaxing Square. A simple and grand entrance ceremony will be held in the "Yingqin" archway, and various cultural performances such as drum, dragon dance, lion dance and group dance will be held at five nodes.

拜祖仪式将沿承规制，于16日上午9：50 开始，仍分“盛世礼炮、敬献花篮、净手上香、行施拜礼、恭读拜文、高唱颂歌、乐舞敬拜、祈福中华、天地人和”九项仪程，内场参拜人员总体规模约1万人，外场有约1万人，现场共计约2万多人。

The ancestor worship ceremony will follow the rules and regulations, starting at 9:50 a.m. on 16th, and will still be divided into nine rituals: "salute of the prosperous age, flower basket offering, hand cleaning and incense burning, worshipping, reading worshiping essays, singing carols, worshiping by music and dancing, blessing China, and harmony of heaven, earth and man". The overall scale of worshippers in the infield is about 10,000, and there are about 10,000 people in the outfield, thus more than 20,000 people are present in the field.

今年将让广大群众和海内外华人都有机会参与拜祖大典，共享传统文化，共建中华民族精神家园，开通了专题网站和网上拜祖平台，全球华人都能够及时了解大典盛况并进行网上拜祖。黄帝故里景区在大典结束之后也将面向全体市民开放，以满足群众“三月三、拜轩辕”的心愿。
