　　In early 2018, good news about Zhengzhou keeps coming: In 2017, Zhengzhou has overfulfilled the target tasks of the construction of its major projects, which made it rank 1st comprehensively in the province. The cargo and mail volume of Zhengzhou Airport grew rapidly, the speed of which ranked 6th among the 51 large airports in China. The import and export value of Xinzheng Comprehensive Bonded Zone increased by 25% year-on-year, which ranked 1st steadily in the National Comprehensive Bonded Zone. With transformation and upgrading and power conversion as ways to promote the economic society to the track of high-quality development, the construction of Zhengzhou National Central city has had a wonderful start.

　　2018年初，有关郑州的好消息不断传来：2017年，郑州市重点项目建设超额完成目标任务，综合排名全省第一;郑州机场货邮量实现较快增长，在全国51个大型机场中增速排名第6位;新郑综合保税区进出口值同比增长25%，稳居全国综保区第1位……以转型升级、动力转换促社会经济进入高质量发展轨道，郑州国家中心城市建设精彩开局。

　　Since 2017, by giving full play to its leading role in opening up to the outside world, Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone has been expediting the construction of hubs and building open platforms for cross-border e-commerce to provide strong impetus for the economic and social development of Zhengzhou continuously.

　　2017年以来，郑州航空港经济综合实验区充分发挥对外开放引领作用，加快枢纽建设，打造跨境电商等开放平台，不断为郑州经济社会发展提供强劲动能。

　　South American fruits, French fashion, Canadian pork and so on. In 2017, the international cargo business of Zhengzhou Airport has been booming. Data showed that passenger throughput of Zhengzhou Airport reached 24.3 million last year, representing a year-on-year increase of 16% and rising to the 13th place nationwide and cargo throughput reached 0.5 million tons, ranking 7th steadily nationwide.

　　南美的水果、法国的时装、加拿大的猪肉……2017年，郑州航空口岸国际货运业务红红火火。数据显示，郑州机场去年旅客吞吐量达到2430万人次、同比增长16%，跃至全国第13位;货运吞吐量突破50万吨，稳居全国第7位。

　　China-Europe Block Train (Zhengzhou) achieved weekly normalized operation of "Coming and going back for eight times" and completed operation of 501 times the whole year. EWTO's core functions gathering area was formally launched. The "2mglobal" and "Trade Single Window" started operation online with import and export goods of 92 million packages and value of RMB10 billion, being leading nationwide in terms of comprehensive indicators. The yield of smart phone devices reached 300 million and comprehensive competitiveness of the airport economy rose to the 6th place nationwide.

　　中欧班列(郑州)实现每周“去八回八”常态化运营，全年开行501班;EWTO核心功能集聚区正式挂牌，“买卖全球网”和“贸易单一窗口”上线运行，全年进出境商品9200万包，货值100亿元，综合指标全国领先;智能终端手机产量达到3亿部，临空经济综合竞争力跃居全国第6位。

　　The construction of integrated transport hubs was accelerating and the status of "Zhengzhou National Central City" continued to be improved. In 2017, Zhengzhou-Jinan High-speed Railway, Zhengzhou-Wanzhou High-speed Railway, Zhengzhou-Hefei High-speed Railway and Zhengzhou South Railway Station and their supporting projects started the construction and the asterisk-shaped high-speed railway network was taking shape. With accelerated construction of Metro Line 3, Line 4, Line 5 and the second phase of Zhengzhou Suburban railway, Zhengzhou in the new era will be linked with the world and connected with all directions.

　　综合交通枢纽建设不断加快，“郑中心”地位持续提升。2017年，郑济、郑万、郑合高铁和郑州南站及配套工程开工建设，米字形高速铁路网加快成型;地铁3号线、4号线、5号线以及城郊铁路二期等加快推进，进入新时代的郑州，联动世界，辐射八方。

　　Innovation drives continuous optimization of the industrial structure

　　With innovation-driven economy as the core driving force of economic development to promote continuous adjustment and optimization of industrial structure, the structure of Zhengzhou’s three industries was adjusted from the original 23.1 : 46.7 : 30.2 to 19 : 41 : 40.

　　坚持把创新驱动作为经济发展的核心动力，推动产业结构不断调整优化，郑州市的三次产业结构由原来的23.1∶46.7∶30.2调整为19∶41∶40。

　　In 2017, Zhengzhou issued 30 hard-hitting talent policies of "Gather talents to Zhengzhou" human resources program which has introduced 317 high-level innovative and entrepreneurial talents. At the same time, it had accelerated the construction of Zheng-Luo-Xin National Innovation Demonstration Area, over 100 enterprises had settled in the National Big Data Comprehensive Experimental Zone and Zhengzhou Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences was established officially.

　　2017年，郑州市重磅发布“智汇郑州”人才政策30条，引进高层次创新创业人才317人。同时加快郑洛新国家自主创新示范区建设，国家大数据综合实验区入驻企业100余家，中国社科院郑州研究院正式成立。

　　Zhengzhou strives continuously to improve Zhengzhou’s "intelligent manufacturing" industrial level. Yutong new energy bus, China Railway Equipment Shield and Foxconn smart phones, etc. have led the accelerated transformation and upgrading of Zhengzhou’s industrial structure. In 2017, the proportion of the six high-growth industries including electronic information and equipment manufacturing and so on and high-tech industries in Zhengzhou to the industries above designated size increased by 13.1 percentage points and 8 percentage points, respectively. The modern service industry is constantly expanding and new formats and new modes such as modern finance, modern logistics, cross-border e-commerce and shared economy were developing rapidly. Among them, the value added of the logistics industry reached RMB43 billion, representing a year-on-year increase of 10%, the trading volume of e-commerce reached RMB600 billion, representing a year-on-year increase of 22.5% and the exhibition area reached 2.58 million square meters which made it selected to China’s most competitive exhibition city in 2017.

　　不断提升郑州“智造”产业水平，宇通新能源客车、中铁装备盾构、富士康智能手机等引领郑州产业结构加快转型升级。2017年，郑州市电子信息、装备制造等六大高成长性产业和高技术产业占规模以上工业比重分别提高13.1个百分点和8个百分点。现代服务业不断壮大，现代金融、现代物流、跨境电商、共享经济等新业态新模式快速发展，其中，物流业增加值达到430亿元，同比增长10%;电子商务交易额6000亿元，同比增长22.5%;会展展览面积258万平方米，入选2017中国最具竞争力会展城市。

　　The projects drive continuous increase of its comprehensive strength

　　项目带动综合实力不断跃升

　　In 2017, Zhengzhou has achieved total investment in key projects of RMB451.61 billion, representing 105% of its annual objectives, started the construction of 186 projects which accounted for 101.6% of the annual tasks; and construction of a large number of key projects progressed steadily, driving Zhengzhou's investment in fixed assets to RMB759 billion. Zhengzhou has overfulfilled or completed their annual target tasks ahead of schedule for A-type projects of provincial assessment, ranking 1st comprehensively in the province.

　　2017年，郑州市重点项目共完成投资4516.1亿元，完成年度目标的105%;开工项目186个，为全年任务的101.6%，一大批重点项目建设稳步推进，带动全市固定资产投资完成7590亿元。全市省考核A类项目均超额或提前完成全年目标任务，综合排名全省第一。

　　76 major projects such as Zhengzhou base of SAIC Passenger Vehicle and BAK capacity expansion were completed and put into operation. The construction of 186 major projects such as express way project of Fourth Ring Road and Dahe Road and China Railway Intelligent Equipment Industrial Park was started. The construction of 586 continued construction projects such as four public cultural service centers was accelerated to effectively support the continuous economic development with steady progress and sound momentum of Zhengzhou. With obvious effect of changes from high-speed growth to high-quality development, it has attracted investors’ attention, so Zhengzhou was successfully listed in the Top 50 cities of China with the most investment potential in 2017, ranking 16th.

　　上汽乘用车郑州基地、比克扩能提升等76个重大项目竣工投产，四环及大河路快速化工程、中铁智能装备产业园等186个重大项目开工建设，市民公共文化服务区“四个中心”等586个续建项目加快推进，有效支撑了郑州市经济发展稳中有进、持续向好的良好态势。由于由高速增长转向高质量发展成效明显，投资者关注度高，郑州市成功入围2017中国最具投资潜力城市50强名单，排名第16位。
