Zhengzhou International 当醉人的月季，遇上最美的郑州

 

In April and May, 106 city roads are decorated with 21.85 million Chinese roses in full bloom, liting up the city. Grandiflora Roses, floribunda roses, liana roses, tree-shaped roses, miniature roses,Shrub Roses, ground-cover rose, modelling roses and so on, making the whole city seem to be "the city of rose flowers.

四五月份，郑州106条市花道路，2185万株怒放的月季将全城“点亮”。大花月季、丰花月季、藤本月季、树状月季、微型月季、灌木月季、地被月季、造型月季等各领风骚，使得整座城市仿佛变身“月季花城”。

 

 

As we all know, the Chinese rose is known as the "queen of flowers", ranking the fifth among the top ten flowers of China because of its wide varieties, rich colors and the advantages of opening in four seasons.

众所周知，月季以品种繁多、花色丰富、四季常开等优点，被誉为“花中皇后”，位居中国十大名花第五。

 

 

Zhengzhou is regarded as one of the most suitable areas for growth of rose. Rose was designated as the city flower by the approval of the third session of the Zhengzhou 7th People's Congress on March 21, 1983, rose has been widely used in landscape of Zhengzhou.

郑州作为月季最适宜生长的地区之一，1983年3月21日经市七届人大三次会议批准，月季被定为市花，月季在郑州市园林绿化中得到广泛应用。

 

 

In the flower borders and flower beds, roses planted in groups are the kinds of grandiflora Roses, floribunda roses, that growing down like waterfalls are mostly liana roses, and the roses growing on the roads decorated with other plants are tree-shaped roses, while miniature roses are often used as ground cover for potting or for edging the edges of flower beds and turf.

其中，花境花坛中丛植、片植的多是大花月季、丰花月季，围栏、墙体、花架等如花瀑倾泻而下的多是藤本月季，道路上配合其他植物列植、丛植的多是树状月季，作为地被用于盆栽或在花坛和草皮边缘栽植镶边的多是微型月季。
